"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

My son is back from Iraq. He's waiting for his medical discharge from the Army now. All is well with him and life goes on. He's planning to go to collage soon and get a degree in computers. I'm very proud of him.
Last night my youngest son boarded a military transport plane headed for Kuwait. He has become a very fine young man as he has grown. Was in ROTC all through school, did very well in it. He has always wanted to be in the military. He did very well in his schools when he joined the U.S. Army. I know this will be another defining time in his life. I can't wait to see the changes and growth this makes in him. He is by far a son any father would be proud to have.
